In short: the app collects no personal data. The diary, recordings and profile stay on the device; only subscription details leave it.
What the app does not do
It does not create an account, and does not ask for a name, a phone number or an email. There are no ads inside it and no data is sold. Cry recordings, the diary and photos never leave the device.
Third-party services
There are two. RevenueCat handles subscriptions and receives an anonymous identifier and purchase details. AppsFlyer works out which ad brought you to the app and receives device and advertising identifiers; if you decline when the app asks permission to track, the advertising identifier is not used. Both are required by contract to protect what they receive at least as well as this policy describes, and to use it only to run the app. Nothing goes any further — not to other companies, not to advertising networks. Cry recordings, the diary and photos are passed to neither of them.
Their own privacy policies: RevenueCat and AppsFlyer. If other services appear in the app — advertising, for example — this section will be updated before they start working.
The microphone
Access to the microphone is needed only to record crying. The recording lasts about five seconds, is processed on the device and is deleted right after the analysis. It is not saved in the app and is not sent anywhere.
Without microphone permission the rest of the app works as usual.
What is stored on the device
Your child’s profile, the diary entries, marked milestones, favourite sounds, saved articles and the conversation with the assistant. All of it sits in the app’s protected folder and is available only to the app.
Your control
The data can be exported to a file or deleted entirely in the Data and privacy section. Until you do that it simply stays on the device: there is nothing on our side to expire, because we keep no copy. Deleting the app erases everything at once. Permission to track can be withdrawn at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you would like us to ask RevenueCat and AppsFlyer to delete what came from your device, write to support@dolzhenkodev.com and we will do it and confirm.
When we have to disclose
What is described above can be disclosed in three cases: when the law requires it — a court order or a similar legal process; when disclosure is needed in good faith to protect someone's rights or safety, to look into fraud, or to answer a request from a government body; and to contractors working on our behalf, who make no independent use of what they receive and are required to follow this policy. There are no other cases.
Security
The entries sit in the app's own storage, which only the app can reach, and are protected by iOS itself. What goes to RevenueCat and AppsFlyer travels over an encrypted connection. Nobody can promise complete protection and we will not either: it is worth keeping a passcode on the device and not handing it to strangers.
Children
The app is for an adult: it is made for a parent, not for a child. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under thirteen and do not market to them. If it turns out that such data reached us anyway, we delete it at once. If you are a parent and believe this has happened, write to support@dolzhenkodev.com.
Changes and consent
This policy may change — along with the app, or when the requirements change. The new text is published here and on the official site, where the page carries the date of the last change. By continuing to use the app you accept the current version; if it does not suit you, the app can be deleted, and that ends everything described here.
